| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (5) Different Rare Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Metal Coated Plastic Toy Prize Figures in this lot. These are not dated but they were made from 1949 - 1950 Cracker Jack prizes. I had personally acquired these back in the 1980s while doing Cracker Jack artwork for Borden. They thought that they would interest me, and they did, but I do not remember why they said that they were made. They were probably, or possibly prototype sample figures that were being considered for use as a Cracker Jack prize. These are coated with either gold and silver colored metals. The original plastic prizes have a Cracker Jack ID number around Z-1137 and they were made in about 1949 – 1950 by the Nosco Plastics. Included in this lot are the following: Hunter Figure With Rifle Gun (gold color) Native American Indian Brave Figure With Bow & Knife (silver color) Native American Chief Figure With Headdress & Fire (silver color) Native American Indian Brave Figure With Bow & Knife (gold color)(missing feathers on head) Western Cowboy or Gun Fighter Figure With Gun Belt & Holster (dark gold color) Don’t miss your chance at these unique prize figures. All five of these for one price! To judge the sizes, the Hunter prize on the left measures about 2-1/8'' tall. They appear to be in mint condition except for the missing feathers on the one Native Brave as mentioned above and as pictured. |
