The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of the (2) Different 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Metal Toy Prize Whistles in this lot. These are two variations of the same type whistle where your fingers would cover the two open sides for it to work. One is embossed “CRACKER JACK”. It has the Cracker Jack ID number Z-0435. The other one is marked “CLOSE END WITH FINGERS” and the CJ ID number for that one is Z-0436. These were both made by The Gray Stamping and Manufacturing Company of Plano, Illinois. They were first ordered by The Cracker Jack Company in 1931 and re-ordered again in 1937. Both of these whistles for one price! To judge the sizes, the bottom one measures about 1-9/16'' long. These appear to be good used condition with wear from use as pictured.
