The picture shows a view of both sides of the (2) Old Cigar Advertising Premium / Prize Theatre Trading Cards in this lot. These two cards are from and advertise ''BETWEEN THE ACTS LITTLE CIGARS''. From the text I take it that these are small cigars that a man would smoke when there is little time, such as between the acts of a play at the theatre. They are not numbered and the number in the series is unknown. The year these were made is also unknown. The people on the cards appear to be of the Victorian age.

One card is of the Old Boston Theatre on Federal Street that opened Feb. 4th, 1794. the other is of the New Old Boston Theatre on Washington Street and it was built in 1854. The backs have a historic description and the cigar advertising.

These each measure 3-1/8'' x 2-1/2''. They are in the condition pictured. The second one does have some light creasing that does not show up on the scan.
