The pictures show a view of all (8) Old Atlantic City Boardwalk & Train Station Photographs in this lot. These are not dated but are believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. The first six are of scenes of a parade on the boardwalk. There is a float of a Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Train Engine, and two different Lulu Temple Shriners Hosptial floats. One is from Atlantic City and one from Philadelphia. Much advertising can be seen on the Boardwalk including a Frozen Custard place, a Shooting Gallery, the Convention Center, Pokerino, Shore's Restaurant, Fillmore's, Shriner's Hall, State Police, Shriner Men, and more. The last two photos are of a family waiting on a train. The sign on the post next to them reads: ''Subway To Station Or Street''. Each of the photographs measure 5-7/8'' x 3-1/2''. They are all in mint as made condition. |
