Mr. Peanut   Planters   Peanuts   Character   Candy   Candies   Trade   Magazine   Advertising   Advertisement   Nostalgic
The picture shows a view of both sides of this 1920 Mr. Peanut / Planters Peanuts Trade Magazine Two-Sided Advertisement. This two-sided ad came from the November 1920 issue of a candy trade publication called The International Confectioner. The ad was not intended for the general public. It was directed at the candy manufacturers and distributors.

One side has a colorful illustration of Mr. Peanut with an early jar of Planter's Pennant Salted Peanuts. He is also pictured twice on the label. It advertises the peanuts as ''A BIG CHRISTMAS SELLER''.

The other side advertises Planters Peanut Butter, in particular as ''Better Peanut Butter For Candy Makers''. It is from The Planters Nut & Chocolate Company.

The page measures 7-13/16'' x 10-7/8''. It is in near mint to mint condition. This ad was not cut or torn from the publication. It was carefully removed by first taking out the staples. There are two sets of staple holes on one edge as made. These holes will be covered if it were matted and framed.
