The mug is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is imprinted in gold on a blue ceramic. The front has an emblem with a buzzard bird with a drink on what appears to be a ship or a submarine, and a banner. The back has U.S. Navy Chief, Senior Chief, Master Chief, Petty Officer, Insignias, along with the name “MARTY”. It is marked, on the two sides, as follows: ASSOCIATION OF OLD BUZZARDS
