| | | | The picture shows both sides of the (2) Old Nestle's Milk Chocolate Candy Bar Wrappers in this lot. These are both 1 oz. wrappers. This candy was from the Nestles Chocolate Company, Inc. New York 13, N.Y.. They each measure 5" x 2" and are in mint condition as can be seen in the scan. They also both have nice advertising on the backs. One advertises Nestle's Economy Size Chocolate Bars and the other advertises Nestle's Eveready Cocoa. In searching for old candy wrappers I have found that it is not as easy as it might seem. No one saved these and now these are rare examples. These came from a candy, tobacco, and gum jobber in New Hampshire. Someone in the company had saved wrapper samples of all the candies they sold. Items acquired were from the 1910's to the 1940's. The business has been long since gone. These are from that lot. |
