| | | | (19) WORLD WAR II CAMP HULEN, TEXAS Photographs in this lot. These are all on trimmed Real Photo Post Cards. They were trimmed to fit into the soldiers photo album. Most, if not all were taken in 1941 in and around this Texas Base. It appears that this was a training ground for ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS. There are many different pictures here of anti-aircraft guns, trucks, soldiers, tents (inside and out), scenery, and more. Most of the photos here have writing on the front and/or back naming people, places, trucks, guns, etc. seen in the pictures. Some of these have black scrap book paper on the backs from being in an old scrap book at some point. They were all from one soldier. The larger photos in this lot measure around 4-5/8" x 3-1/2". The photos vary from good to near mint condition. |
