| | | The picture shows a view of this Old Gum Ball Machine Header Card With (6) Football Team Toy Rings. This display card is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. This is the display card that went inside a machine to entice children (or more likely parents) to spend their pocket change. It was made in Hong Kong for a 10 cent gumball machine. The card is made with slots to hold the rings as shown. There are (26) different team names to the complete set of rings and the card hold six different ones. They are made of hard plastic in the shape of footballs and football helmets. Besides the rings, there is a 10c sticker, and it pictures football players, a goal post and four football helmets. The unused football team rings that are included are as follows: (Dallas) COWBOYS (Green Bay) PACKERS (New England) PATRIOTS (Baltimore) COLTS (Philadelphia) EAGLES NAVY The rings have a separated back to fit different size childrens fingers. To judge the sizes the display card measures 5-1/16'' x 6-3/8''. It is in mint unused condition as pictured. |
