| The picture shows a view of the (2) Unused 1958 The 7th Voyage of Sinbad Movie Ad Mat Mold. The ad mats are not dated but they are from the 1958 movie. These are molds in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this. The ad mats are like a miniature 3-D poster and would look nice framed, or you could still use them to make print blocks from it. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board. The first admat has many small movie scene images. The second one is of a movie scene of a sword fight with a skeleton. They are marked as follows: THE 7th VOYAGE OF SINBAD
