| | | The picture shows a view of this Old Gum Ball Machine Prize Advertising Header Card with Prizes. The card is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1950s or 1960s. This is one of the cards that goes inside a gumball machine to entice children to spend their (or more likely their parents) spare change. This one is from an old 10 cent machine. The card has the original shrink wrap over the prizes and the card. The prizes could be removed if desired. It is complete as it was made except for two missing prizes. The card holds (10) various toy prizes. There are a few fuzzy pipe cleaner type dog pins, two toy rings, a french horn pin, two metal charm bracelets, two plastic mice with pins, and a metal sailing ship pin. The card is marked as follows: 10c RINGS NOVELTIES To judge the sizes the header card measures about 4-3/4'' x 5-1/2''. The prizes and card appear to be in near mint or in mint condition. The card itself has creasing and some wear as pictured. |
