There is a brown 1-1/2 cent Martha Washington postage stamp. The postcard has a neatly written message on the back about playing cards and it was mailed to a Gardiner, Maine address. The card pictures a Greenville Mississippi downtown scene with buildings, old automobiles, lamp posts, awnings, the street, a few people, and old advertising signs. Some of the old signs can be read such as ''DRINK COCA-COLA - DELCIOUS AND REFRESHING'', ''JOSEPHS PHARMACY, INC.'', ''MAYERS READY TO WEAR'', ''F. W. WOOLWORTH CO. FIVE & TEN CENT STORE'', ''DRUG'', ''NO PARKING'', ''WESTERN UNION'', ''SHLITZ BEER'', ''GIFT SHOP'', ''HOTEL REST ???'', and more.
