The picture below shows a larger view of this Old Boxed Transogram Mosaic Marble Game (82) Painted Clay Marbles. This marble game is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. This Mosaic kit is a ''Gold Medal Toy'' manufactured by Transogram Company, Inc. of 200 Fifth Avenue, New York City. Included here is the following: The colorful box with five children playing with the game. There are also colorful marbles pictured all around the four sides. There is the inner board with holes that hold the marbles. The (82) marbles pictured. These are clay marbles painted yellow, red, green, and blue. There is also the folding instruction sheet that also pictures (16) different colorful designs that could be made. The marbles each measure about 3/8'' wide. The box measures 8-3/4'' x 6-1/8'' x 3/4''. The marbles appear to be in mint condition. The colorful game box appears to be in excellent condition with only light wear. A previous owner had taped a clear mylar film or plastic sheet inside over the box bottom, but it can be removed if desired. We just left it as found. |
