The picture shows a sample view of (4) of the (25) Different Old Washington D.C. Photograph Slides in this lot. The slides in this lot have both interior and exterior images. These are all in color. They are copyrighted images from a Captain M. W. Arps, United States Navy Retired. They each have a title or caption printed on the slide frame. A few are dated 1968 and the rest are believed to be from the 1960s as well. In no particular order they are marked as follows:

1230 The Pentagon as viewed from a plane enroute to the nearby Washington National Airport.

1050 The Capital just after dusk from East Capital Street.

1103 Jefferson Memorial at Washington, D.C.

1079G Green Room, White House, as redecorated by the Kennedys.

1014 Jefferson Memorial taken from top of Washington Monument.

1030 Washington Monument and Reflecting Pool as viewed from Lincoln Memorial.
