The picture shows a view of both sides of this Unused 1956 Kellogg's Sugar Frosted Flakes Cereal Prize Advertising Billboard Sign. This unused miniature billboard sign came as a prize in a 1956 cereal box. It comes with its original cellophane wrapper (not pictured) but it is dry and cracked open. According to a 1956 Kelloggs cereal box, there were a total of eight different plastic model signs to the set. One side of the paper sign has an advertisement for Morton Salt and the other side has one for AC Oil Filters. The plastic parts for the sign are still connected. The prize has the paper sign, the white plastic frame, two feet, and two light sections that go on the top. This billboard is the perfect accessory to an HO scale railroad layout or for a Plasticville town. To judge the sizes the advertising card that goes in the frame measures 3-7/16'' x 2''. The plastic sign parts are in mint condition and the advertising card has some slight age discoloration around the edge as pictured. |
