The picture shows a view of this colorful Early 1900s Cracker Jack Premium / Prize Pretty Lady Celluloid Pin Back Button. These colorful celuloid pinback buttons were some of the earliest prizes that were put into Cracker Jack boxes. There were at least (25) different ones that were produced. Interestingly, these pins were also used at the same time by tobacco companies as premiums. The only difference is the paper insert in the back. This one was found without the paper insert. The paper insert on the Cracker Jack version would have read as follows:

CRACKER JACK
5c
CANDIED POPCORN
&
ROASTED PEANUTS

This one is marked on the edge as follows:

©1908 by the Whitehead & Hoag Co.

The pinback button measures 1-1/4" wide. It is in near mint condition except for the missing paper insert.
