| | | The picture shows two side views of this 1948 Lone Ranger Premium Brass Flashlight Toy Ring. The ring is believed to have been a mail away premium from General Mills Cheerios cereal. Many different premiums had been produced. The Lone Ranger began back in 1933. His sidekick was the Native American Indian Tonto. There was also his horse Silver. The ring is made of brass. It comes with its original light bulb but there is no battery included. The battery holder is at the bottom and the wire contact is intact. It has a raised shield badge image within a wreath at the top. There are four stars in the shield. The sides have images of a balance scale and a hand holding a lit torch. There is an eagle and a star in the center. The ring is marked inside ''Robbins Co. Attleboro''. To judge the size the ring measures about 1-3/4'' tall. It appears to be in near mint condition with its luster as pictured. There is a small spot at the top of what appears to be old paste. This could probably be removed but that will be left for the buyer to decide. |
