| | | | The pictures below show larger views of all (3) Different 1950 Vending or Arcade Machine Astrology Readings in this lot. These three readings are ©1950. The papers inside are dated. They were made in the U.S.A. by Birthdays, Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee. These have cardboard sleeves that have an image of the Sun, Moon, Planets, Stars, and Constellations. The front of the covers have stars and comets and they are marked as follows: YOUR ASTROLOGY READING INSIDE
(Zodiac Sign) TAURUS - CAPRICORN - SAGITTARIUS Inside the sleeves are two folded papers in each. The Taurus and Capricorn readings are unopened. The Sagittarius reading was opened and has a 2'' edge tear. The papers from the Sagittarius one are shown. One paper has ''THE TWELVE SIGNS OF THE ZODIAC'' and ''THE SCIENCE OF ASTROLOGY''. The other paper has ''ASK THE STARS - THEY KNOW'' reading. The other side has a list of seven Zodiac or Astrology items that you could purchase by mail with an order form at the bottom. All three of these for one price! To judge the sizes the unopened packets each measures 3'' x 1-1/2'' x 1/4''. The two unopened readings appear to be in mint condition as pictured. The opened one has a 2'' seam tear as mentioned above and some spotting on the sleeve, but the papers from inside are clean as shown. |
