These are from the 8th Annual Tom Arnold’s Circus at Harringay Arena in London, England. The tickets are all dated from New Years Day, Saturday, 1 January, 1955. The program has many pages filled with pictures and information on the many different acts that performed. They are as follows: The Ifni Sahara Arabs Chipperfield’s Elephant Carousel Chipperfield’s Exotic Animal Group (Camels Llamas, Zebras, & George the Giraffe) Les Trois Dinat Aerial Gymnasts Sensational Bob Gerry Troupe The Six Frielanis Gabriella’s Dogs Greta Frisk – Queen of The Air Trapeze Artist 2 Harlequins – Aerial Sisters The Johns Comedy Stars of the Trampoline Charles Shadwell and the Grand Circus Orchestra Les Francescos Clowns Sea Lion Quartet Alcetty and Partner Besides the circus itself, some of the advertisements inside the program include the following: Guinness Beer Motion Picture Cinerama London Casino Junior Mirror Truman’s Beers Hong Kong Restaurant A. To judge the sizes the souvenir programme measures about 7-1/4'' x 9-1/2''. The tickets appear to be in mint condition as pictured, and the program only has some light wrinkling from handling. |
