The picture shows a view of all (6) Different Old Cameo Necklace Pendant Charms in this lot. None of these are dated but they are old. Some appear to be better then others. We are not jewelry experts but will describe these as best we can. These were not tested for gold. The charm at the top left looks to be well made of an early plastic or celluloid. It is a religious charm of the Virgin Mary. The back is marked ''OUR LADY PRAY FOR US - ITALY''. The top center charm appears to be the best one in this lot. It looks and feels like a cameo carved from shell. There is a gold rim around the cameo section and an ornate backing section. There is an extra gold loop at the top. The back of this one reads as follows: ''VAN DELL 1/20 - 12 KT G.F.''. The top right charm is believed to be made of thin celluloid. The ivory colored figure is on a redish background that feels hollow. There is a metal backing on it with no markings. The bottom left charm is made of a gold color metal with (13) stones and what appars to be a plastic cameo on a black plastic background. There are no markings. It looks like there should be another larger stone at the top by the loop. The bottom center charm looks more like it was made for a child's jewelry. It has a young lady bust on it that appears to be made of molded plastic. It is on a thin decorative metal backing. The bottom right charm is the last one in this lot. It is made of molded blue glass and it has a metal loop at the top. The back side is fairly flat. To judge the sizes the top center charm with the extra loop measures about 1-1/4'' tall. These appear to range from excellent to near mint condition as pictured. |
