The pictures show a view of the (2) different 1940s Central Garage & Supply Company Store and Gas Station Photographs in this lot. The black & white photograph is dated 1940 on the back. The color photograph is dated October 3, 1949 on the back. The location of this particular store and gas station is unknown. There is only nine years difference in these photos, but many changes can be seen in the business. This is the same building and business. The gasoline that was sold appears to have changed from Tydol Flying A to Texaco in those years. In the black & white image there is a wooden platform or loading dock with many feed sacks for poultry or chickens, dairy cows, dog, and horse feeds. The brands can be read with a magnifying glass. There are also GULF Livestock spray cans and a metal milk can as well. There is a display of ''Black Packet'' seed packets, and a Masury Paint display in one window above the pickup truck.
