| The picture shows this Complete RARE ©1972 Banana Splits Character Decal / Sticker Set. Pictured on the left is the package front with the decals / stickers inside. The right image shows the back of the package. In the center all of the included character stickers are shown. Included are (4) different characters in cartoon form, and one group image of the characters in costume as they appeared on the Hanna-Barbera television show. The characters are: Fleegle

Snorky The story why these have survived all of these years is interesting. These Hanna-Barbera Banana Splits Comic-Stiks were sent to Borden, Inc. as samples in 1972 for consideration of being used as premiums or in package prizes to be used in Cracker Jack. They were never used as Cracker Jack prizes, but this complete package remained in a Borden file folder all these years. To judge the sizes the entire package measures 4-1/8" x 10-1/2". All of the stickers have been in the dark all these years and are as bright and clean as the day they were made! The package is neatly opened at the top seam and all of the contents are in mint condition. |
