| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (18) Small Old United States Navy Miniature Plastic Toy Ships in this lot. Most of these are not dated but they are believed to range from the1950s to the 1990s. Some of these were probably sold in five and dime stores, some may have been cereal prizes or premiums, and some may have been part of different play sets. They were made by various makers. From top to bottom in the picture below are the following: Aircraft Carrier (marked “59” on deck - U.S.S. Forrestal CV-59 - badly damaged) Aircraft Carrier (E NO. 1202 MADE IN HONG KONG) Cargo Ship (3 CARGO) Cruiser or Destroyer (LIMA – ITALY) Cruiser or Destroyer (LIMA – ITALY) Cruiser or Destroyer (E NO. 1204 MADE IN HONG KONG 2) Cruiser or Destroyer (E NO. 1204 MADE IN HONG KONG 4) Cruiser or Destroyer (LIMA) Battleship (©1994 L.G.T.I.) Submarine (no marking) Cruise Ship / Ocean Liner (S.S. UNITED STATES – cereal prize) Battleship (no marking) Destroyer (no marking) Aircraft Carrier (LIDO U.S.A.) Battleship (2 LIDO U.S.A.) Battleship (LIDO U.S.A.) Cruise Ship / Ocean Liner (LIDO U.S.A.) Destroyer or PT Boat (4 LIDO U.S.A.) All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the largest ship included here measures 6-3/4'' long. Most of these appear to range from excellent to mint condition as pictured. As mentioned above, the largest aircraft carrier is badly damaged. One battleship has superstructure damage. |
