| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Colorful Old Hopalong Cassidy & Topper Cowboy Hero Child’s Table Place Mat. The placemat is not dated but it is from the 1950s. It is made of a colorful imprinted plastic film like material. The problem with this placemat is that it had been trimmed at some time. Originally it was about 18'' x 12''. Originally around the image were different Cowboy related items including a horse bridle, a gun & holster, a branding iron, a chuck wagon, a revolver, a saddle, and boots. It still looks nice, and would look nice framed it has an an image of Hoppy, in his western outfit, riding his horse Topper, with a lasso through a ranch gate. It has a facsimile signature “HOPPY”. The trimmed placemat measures about 15'' x 9''. Besides the trimming, it appears to be in good used condition. It has some edge wear especially at the lower left. as pictured. |
