The picture shows a sample view of one of the (5) 1920 Geiger Bros. Correspondence Letters in this lot. Also included here is a A Salesmans Commission Statement from the same company. Three of these are signed by the Sales Manager of the company. They are all addressed to the same Salesman from Boston, Massachusetts. This company was a manufacturer of Calendars and Advertising and Promotional Premium items. These 1920 letters would be of Historic interest to collectors of these advertising novelties. The salesmans Monthly Commision Statement bears the company name and it a longer sheet (see sizes below). Three of the letters have a nice black image of a building with signs that read: "GEIGER BROS." and "CALENDARS AND SPECIALTIES". The building is / was ? in Newark, New Jersey. At the street level there are people, an old automobile and an old delivery truck. The other two letters do not have the graphic, but they have much nicer lettering. MEMBERS NATIONAL ASS'N OF SPECIALTY M'F'GS CREDIT MENS ASSOCIATION At the bottom of the three letter with the graphic, there is another at the bottom. It has an arrow with a target that reads as follows: THE DIRECT METHOD OF ADVERTISING GOOD CIRCULATION PERMENANCE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ADVERTISING NOVELTY MANUFACTURERS. IF IT IS GOOD FOR ADVERTISING, SOME MEMBER MAKES IT, ASK US. On The other two letters, the bottom section reads: GB NEWARK NEW JERSEY WE SPECIALIZE IN TWELVE SHEET CALENDARS YEAR AT A GLANCE CALENDARS WEEKLY CALENDARS DAILY CALENDARS PLAIN BUSINESS CALENDARS ART CALENDARS PAPER AND CARDBOARD SPECIALTIES The letters each measure 8-1/2" x 11" and the Commision Statement measures 8-1/2" x 14". They are in excellent condition with fold creases from mailing. |
