The picture shows a view of the (5) Unused ©1955 Artists and Models Movie Advertising Ad Mat Molds. They are still attached. These ad mats are not dated but they are from 1955 when this movie was made. These are molds in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this.

The ad mats are like miniature 3-D posters and would look nice framed, or you could still use them and make print blocks from them. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board. One of these admats has an image of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin. One has the movie information and (3) have the movie title only. Three have an Artist's pallet. They are marked as follows:
