The pictures below show larger views of this 1910s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Premium Riddle Book. Shown are the front and back cover and a few sample pages from inside. The booklet has (44) pages with early images of Sailor Jack, Bingo, riddles, advertising, and a factory building picture on the back. The booklet was put out by the Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein, the makers of Cracker Jack, Angelus Marshmallows, and at the time many different candy products. The front cover has an early image of Sailor Jack with his dog Bingo, as well as an early Cracker Jack box. Inside is another Cracker Jack box, scattered cute comic or cartoon images of Sailor Jack & Bingo, many riddles, lots of information. The back cover has a factory building image and there is interesting information about the factory building inside. The booklet measures about 2-3/4" x 5". The booklet appears to be in good condition with some over all wear, creasing, and some light age discoloration as pictured. |
