The pictures show views of this Old Piper Cub Airplane Pilot Log Book. This old book does not have a year but it is believed to be from the late 1930s or early 1940s. There are only five entries made in the book. It had belonged to a Concord, Massachusetts man who was apparently in training. The log has five signatures on the entries. The airplane that was used was a Piper -3 Cub.

The book was from the Piper Aircraft Corporation of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.. It advertises that Piper Cubs were available as land planes, sea planes or on skis with Continental, Lycoming, or Franklin engines. The front cover pictures a Piper Cub airplane and the back cover has a bear cub head. In the back, on the last page is an advertisement picturing a man with a flute (Piper) riding on an airplane with many planes following.

The closed Pilot log book measures about 7'' x 4-1/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition with a name, address and only five log entries as pictured.
