The picture shows a view of all (8) Old Movie Actor Arcade Cards in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s. These cards were acquired in old arcade coin operated vending machines. The vending machines were usually found in arcades, on boardwalks, in amusement parks, or similar popular areas. These were made in the U.S.A. by either The Exhibit Supply Company or The International Mutoscope Reel Company. The backs are all blank. They are printed in black, green, blue, and brown ink on white card stock paper. The cards are marked as follows: Sincerely George Brent Cordially, Ronald Coleman Bing Crosby Sincerely Tom Keene Best Wishes From George Sanders Sincerely Richard Denning Regards - Charles Starrett Sincerely Yours George O'Brien The cards are all marked ''MADE IN U.S.A.'' and they have a facsimile autograph or signature. These are not numbered and it is unknown how many are in this set, but there are (8) different cards included here. Each of the cards measure about 3-3/8'' x 5-3/8''. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. The Bing Crosby card has two thumb tack holes. |
