The 1930s club was sponsored by Hearst Newspapers promoting model airplane flying. It is enameled in red, white, and blue. There are two holes at the bottom to attach rank badges. Each of the enameled rank bars have two holes at the bottom to add more. This one has none. It is marked on the front and back as follows: JR. BIRDMEN OF AMERICA The wings pin measures 1-11/16" wide. It is in near mint condition. as pictured. |
