Old United States Navy Photo Identification Badge
U.S. Navy   Sailor   Veteran   Nautical   Ship   Military   World War II   WWII   War   United States   America   American   Americana   Base   Identification   ID   Card   Badge   Photo   Photograph   Paper   Ephemera   History   Historic
The picture below shows a front and back view of this Old United States Navy Photo Identification Badge. The badge is not dated, but judging by the man's birth year (1913) we estimate this ID badge being from the mid 1930s to the early 1940s. The badge has a photograph and information for a Henry J. Bialoblocki. We are not sure if he was a Sailor or a civilian contractor. On the back are two thumb prints. The identification does not have a specific ship or U.S. Naval Base on it.

The badge has two metal grommets, probably to attach another badge or pin section. It has a laminated paper identification card. The card has typed information and is signed by the man and a validating Lieutenant Commander Officer. There is no pin section on the back. The ID card or badge measures about 3-5/8'' x 2-7/16''. It appears to be in fair used condition with much wear and soiling and pictured. It most likely was carried in a wallet for many years.
