(3) Old World War II Homefront Store Window Display Photographs
World War II   Store   Advertising   Sign   Display   WWII   Homefront   Photo   Photograph   Historic   Nostalgic
The picture shows all (3) Old World War II Homefront Store Window Display Photographs in this lot. These photograph were found amongst other World War II homefront photographs from Fitchburg and Boston, Massachusetts. These may be from these areas or from Holland, Michigan where the compnay was from. The Holland Furnace Company of Holland, Michigan billed itself as the largest installer of hot-air furnaces in the world. It was in business from 1906 to the early 1960s.

The photos picture a store window display pertaining to WWII. The window appears to be decorated for a Welcome Home Parade for Veterans of the war. They were taken at night with the interior lit up. There are stars all over the windows, an eagle, and different signs that can be seen read as follows:

Welcome Home Veterans

Holland
Home Heating
Air Conditioning
After War Heat Parade

Replace Furnace Filters Now!
Dustop Air Filters

Holland Furnace Company
"World's Largest Installer Of Home Heating
And Air Conditioning Service"

One photograph measures 7" x 5" and the two smaller ones measure 3-1/2" x 2-1/2". They are in excellent condition. The larger one has a footprint on the back and some tiny indents (probably from sand when stepped on).
