The picture shows a view of this 1968 Downtown Rushville Nebraska Main Street Post Card. This postcard was postmarked from Rushville Nebraska on November 7, 1968. There is a blue George Washington five cent postage stamp. The postcard has a neatly written message on the back and it was mailed to a Stoughton, Massachusetts address.

The card pictures a Rushville Nebraska Main Street scene with buildings, old automobiles, a water tower, a man in a cowboy hat, and old advertising signs. Some of the old signs can be read such as ''CAFE'', ''HOTEL'', ''CAFE'', ''RUSHVILLE'', ''DAIRY QUEEN'', ''CAFE'', ''MEATS - GROCERY'', ''CAFE'', ''BAKERY'', ''WEFSO DRUG'', ''SPEED LIMIT 25'', ''S & H'' (green stamps), and more. It is marked on the front and back as follows:

MAIN STREET RUSHVILLE, NEBRASKA
W. C. PINE CO., 4710 FULLER, INDEP., MO.

The postcard measures about 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. It appears to be in good used condition with some small spots and marks from the postmark on the front as pictured.
