The pictures below show larger front and back views of this 1913 A. W. Sharp's Store Upper Gloucester Massachusetts Real Photo Post Card. The title is difficult to read, but it reads:

A.W. SHARP'S STORE.
UPPER GLOUCESTER, MASS.

This real photo postcard has a very nice photograph image of a general store, gas station, and garage. It is from a time with wagons still in use with an early delivery truck in use as well. A man is in the driver's seat. There is a home in the background, trees, and an early telephone pole. There are a few chairs on the wooden porch. There is much detail and plenty to see. There are many signs that can be read with and without a magnifying glass. The signs on the building and the pole read as follows:

(side of garage)
EDGEWORTH BREAD
THE BEST MADE
SAVE THE COUPONS

(on post in garage)
(2) small AUCTION posters

(above door)
A. W. SHARP
DRY GOODS
GROCERIES
BOOTS & SHOES
FLOUR
GRAIN
HARDWARE

(above door)
LOWE BROTHERS PAINT

(above door)
GASOLINE

(above left window)
DANIEL WEBSTER FLOUR

(on or in left window)
(2) MOXIE soda signs with man

(left of door)
LOWE BROTHERS PAINT with H.S. pennant

(left of door)
Long thermometer (can't read it)

(left of door)
WAITT & BONO
BLACKSTONE (cigars)
SMOKE FROM MAINE TO MEXICO

(right of door)
NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH CO.
LOCAL AND LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE
BELL SYSTEM

(right of door)
TRAISER'S
HARVARD
10c CIGAR

(on telephone pole)
THAT GOOD GULF GASOLINE

(front of porch floor)
(??) HEART CROQUETTES

The postmark is hard to read but it looks like 1903 or 1913 and it has a red George Washington two cent postage stamp. It was probably mailed from Gloucester, Massachusetts to a Rochester, New Hampshire address. It has an easily readable written message. This real photo postcard measures 5-7/16'' x 3-7/16''. It appears to be in good condition as pictured. There is some light wear, light bends, small spotting, and a light surface crack that does not show up in the scan.
