The pictures below show larger views of all (11) Different Old Unidentified Carnival Fair Arcade and Amusement Park Photographs in this lot. Several of the photos are dated and have some writing on the back. This is an accumulated lot but some of these were found together. All of these for one price! These photographs vary in their size. The largest one measures 4-9/16'' x 3-1/4''. They appear to vary from excellent to mint condition as pictured. Included here, in the order pictured, are the following:

The first photo is of a young woman and child on a carousel or merry go round horse.
The back is not marked.

The second photo actually has two images. The left image appears to be of people by a monument. The right image appears to be of a carnival or fair midway with building or tent games. There are a few signs that we can not see except for a “Frankfurters” sign.
The back is dated “1918” and it is stamped “???att's 417 N. Broadway, St. Louis” and “119”.

The third photo is of two young ladies in dresses on a roller coaster type ride.
The back is stamped “54H”.

The fourth photo has five young ladies standing in front of what appears to be an old arcade type building. There is a monogram on the circle section on the unusual shaped roof. There is a sculpture type lamps on each side of the sets of doors.
The back is simply marked “25P”.

The fifth photo is from 1947 at a swimming area in Massachusetts. It has people in the foreground including a young man with a toddler and a lithographed tin toy beach pail. There are people in the background at what appears to be a concession stand. There are a few old automobiles at the upper left. The back of this photo has writing in pencil. It reads:

SWIMMING IN FORT MEADOWS ON JULY 4, '47 IN SUDBURY.
JUNIOR, HELEN, ME, DICK EATON, SHIRLEE, BARBARA E., DEX & SHARON

The sixth photo is from Massachusetts in 1940. It pictures what appears to be sudents and a Teacher, probably on a class trip. The location is unknown. The are seated and standing at some long park benches. The back has a stamping that reads:

SAMUEL PHOTO SERVICE
MAYNARD, MASS.
JUN 21 1940

The seventh photo here is of an unknown old wooden roller coaster.
The back is simply marked “106”.

The eighth photograph is of a man holding a balloon. It is difficult to see, but in the background is what appears to be a souvenir stand selling the balloons as well as other items. This photo may have been taken at an old fair. There are people and a clock building in the background.
The back is not marked.

The ninth photo was found with number seven above with a rollercoaster. It may have been taken of the same area from a boardwalk.
The back is simply marked “106”.

The tenth photo is from 1939. It is of a young girl standing in front of an old unknown arcade and concession building with signs. Some of the signs read:

SKEE BALL
???????????????
FUN SKILL ALLEYS FOR CHILDREN
KING ????
????? ?????
MOXIE
?????
CANDIES
POP CORN
FUN

The back reads “AUG 21 1939” and “C79”.

The final or last photo in this lot is of a United States Navy Sailor in uniform on a ride with a young lady. The location is unknown but it may be at a boardwalk or local carnival.
The back is simply marked “K444”.
