The picture shows a view of all (19) Old United States Marine Corps Uniform Insignia Buttons in this lot. These buttons are not dated and the year that they were made or used is unknown. They have an identical insignia on the front. The medium and smaller buttons appear to be made of a hard plastic with a metal shank section on the back. The larger buttons are made of metal with brown painted fronts. Only the (7) larger buttons are marked on the back. There are (5) with a silver colored back. (3) of these have a cotter type pin section attached. These five are marked on the back as follows:

WATERBURY BUTTON CO.
CONN.

The other (2) larger buttons have a gold colored metal back that are marked as follows:

L & R METAL PROD. CORP
BRONX, N.Y.

The buttons measure about 1-1/8'', 1'', and 5/8''. They appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. Some of the large buttons have a little light wear on the eagle head.
