The pictures below show larger views of all (10) Old Planter's Peanuts Mr. Peanut Advertising Character Packaging and Premium Items in this lot. The second picture shows a back view of some of the items. These items are not dated and the years that they were made are unknown. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items including:

There is a partial colorful old paper bag from a 48 ounce bag. It has two images of Mr. Peanut and a peanut. It was packed by the National Peanut Corporation for The Peanut Store.

There are three cardboard box sections that probably came from the same box. Two of them picture Mr. Peanut.

There is a Planters Peanuts 75th Anniversary (1981) commemorative glass jar with lid. The jar pictures Mr. Peanut twice and is marked twice: ''PLANTERS 75th ANNIVERSARY''. The jar lid also pictures the advertising character and ''1906 - 1981''.

There are (2) different tin cans. One has a plastic lid and the other has no lid. The first one is for PLANTERS DE LUXE SALTED MIXED NUTS. It pictures Mr. Peanut and a colorful bowl of mixed nuts. This one has no lid and a hole was cut into the bottom for some reason. This is the type of can that came with a metal key to open it.

The second tin can is for PLANTERS WHOLE CASHEWS. It pictures Mr. Peanut twice on the side and on the lid as well as cashew nuts.

Next there is an advertising premium Mr. Peanut character coin saving bank. It is made of light blue hard plastic. The top hat screws off to open the figure bank. To acquire this bank you had to mail in Planter's peanut wrappers. It is marked as follows:

MR. PEANUT
BANK
MADE IN U.S.A. ®

The last two items in this lot are also mail away premiums. It is a Mr. Peanut salt & pepper shaker set. These are made of black hard plastic. The bodies and shoes are painted. The holes on the top are shaped in the letters ''S'' and ''P'' for salt & pepper. These are marked:

MR. PEANUT
PLANTERS
MADE IN U.S.A. ®

All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the bank measures about 8-3/8'' tall. The bank, salt & pepper and the glass jar appear to be in mint condition. The large paper wrapper is torn as pictured and the two tin cans have some old rusting inside.
