There is a cover panel with Zebras and an address panel to mail the map like a post card. There is a two panel street map of San Diego and a colorful four panel bird's eye Artist rendition view of Balboa Park. This image shows many buildings from the Panama California Exposition held in 1915 and buildings from the California Pacific International Exposition that was held in 1935 and 1936. The other side has a colorful eight panel map of the San Diego Zoo. The artwork is by R. W. Schultheis and the lithography was by Frye & Smith of San Diego. The map shows the animals and attraction areas of the zoo. The fully opened map measures 22'' x 16-5/8''. It is in near mint condition as pictured. There is a small fold edge tear next to where you would place a postage stamp. |
