The pictures shows a view of all (15) 1920's & 1930's Totem Lodge Burden Lake, New York Photographs in this lot. This lot has as a bonus an original old photo envelope that was found with these. I had acquired a large lot of old photographs and negatives from this old lodge and they are split up into (4) separate lots in my items right now. Below here is some background information that I found on the internet about the totem pole that is in many of these photographs: "The original 9 hole golf course at Burden Lake Country Club first opened in 1927 as part of the Totem Lodge Resort on Third Burden Lake." The photo images below are small. Many have writing and are dated. Because of this, I will list below what they are and what is written (if anything) on each. Signed photo of a man believed to be a theatre actor that played at Totem. On the front it is autographed. It is marked: "1930 For Audrey The Sweetheart Of Totem Sincerely, Harry Herbert. Woman posing by the Totem Pole. This is another where she is believed to have been a theatre actress that played there. It is autographed: "Lillian Gordin 1930". The largest photo in this lot measures 6" x 4". They are in various conditions but most are excellent. Some have some black scrap book paper on the back. |
