| | | The pictures show a front and back view of the 1905 & 1906 U.S. President William McKinley Postal Cards in this lot. Each of these has an image of the Great Seal of The United States of America, and a printed postage stamp portrait of William McKinley (1843 - 1901). President McKinley was shot at the 1901 Pan American World's Fair Expostion on September 6th, 1901 and died while in office on September 14th. These are one cent postcards. These are postmarked from Melrose and Boston Massachusetts and Cranville, Ohio. They were sent to two diffeent Melrose, Massachusetts mailing addresses. Both have a written message on the back. The post cards each measure 5-1/2'' x 3-1/4''. They appear to be in excellent used condition as pictured. |
