The picture shows a front and back view of the (2) Small Old Metal Cigar Cutter Tools in this lot. These are not dated but both of them are old. The first one has a loop to attach to a pocket watch chain or key chain. That loop is marked ''HAYWARD''. On the side are the engraved initials ''E. W. B.''. It is not marked as such but it could be gold, gold filled, or gold plated. It has not been tested. The blade on this one is broken. The second cutter appears to be made of brass. It has a design with branches and leaves in the center on one side and a border design on both sides. This one has a hole at each end. One is connecting the blade part and the other is probably to attach it to a pocketwatch chain or keychain. This one has some rust on the steel blade. It could be either cleaned or replaced. To judge the sizes the first one, with the end loop measures 2-5/8'' long. We do not know how to grade the condition of these. They are as pictured and the first one has a broken blade as mentioned above. |
