| | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Unused 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection C. Carey Cloud Cowboy & Horse Puzzle Paper Prize. Artist and Designer C. Carey Cloud was a prize Designer for Cracker Jack from 1937 to the early 1960s. He had designed hundreds of prizes throughout the depression, World War II and beyond. The novelty toy prizes were made of mainly tin or paper before and after WWII, paper during this time because of war shortages, and mostly of paper and injection molded plastic after the war. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize was Z-0916. There were a few varieties of this prize. This one has cut parts connected with a tiny paper clip. One version is folded and the parts are connected. The larger parts of this prize measure about 2-3/4'' x 1-1/2''. It appears to be in excellent unused condition as pictured. There is the remains of an old dried rubber band on a blank side of one card |
