Inside there are (80) names listed in the Honor Roll. There ia a program page and the back has the invited guest names and the Committee names. The front is marked as follows: DEDICATION OF FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND HONOR ROLL OF THE CITIZENS OF THE HIGHLANDS DISTRICT AMESBURY, MASSACHUSETTS NOW SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES OF OUR COUNTRY AT HIGHLAND PARK AMESBURY ON THURSDAY EVENING JULY TWENTIETH NINETEEN HUNDRED FOURTY-FOUR AT SEVEN O'CLOCK The second item is a 1942 one page typed letter from the Chief Air Raid Warden to people of Amesbury concerning their Civilian Defense Organization. The letter is a plea for volunteer workers with much detail. To judge the sizes the program measures about 5-3/4'' x 9-1/8''. These are in fair condition with age discoloration. The program has some wear and tear as pictured. |
