| | | The picture shows a view of this Colorful 1948 Holyoke Massachusetts High Street Linen Post Card. This postcard is postmarked August 1, 1948 from Holyoke, Massachusetts and it was mailed to a Binghamton, New York address. There is a green George Washington one cent postage stamp and a neatly written message on the back. The card has many downtown buildings and stores as well as many old cars. There are many old signs and some can be read such as ''Marble Hall Hotel'', ''The Mohican Market'', ''Little ???? Auto'', and ''????? National Bank''. The post card is marked on the two sides as follows: High Street, Holyoke Mass. 9 Holyokes retail trade exceeds $30,000,000 a year and is growing rapidly.
