| | | | The pictures show a view of all (16) Old Palm Fortune For Women Exhibit Supply Arcade Cards in this lot. Also shown (for reference) is the marking on the wrapper that these cards came in. The wrapper is NOT included with this lot of cards. These cards were acquired in old arcades coin operated vending machines. They were made in Chicago, Illinois by The Exhibit Supply Company. They are not dated but are believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. The backs are all blank. They are printed in blue ink on white card stock paper. The cards are all marked: COPYRIGHT EXHIBIT SUP. CO., CHGO.
MADE IN U.S.A. These cards are for women, but there were ones made for men as well. The cards each picture a different ''FUTURE HUSBAND'' as well as picture a palm of a hand with lines. Below, the text tells about the meaning of the line that is darkened on the palm. These are not numbered and it is unknown how many are in this set, but there are (16) different cards included here. Each of the cards measures 3-5/16'' x 5-3/8''. They are all in mint unused condition as pictured. |
