The picture shows a front and back view of this 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition Commemorative Huyler's Candy Advertising Premium Coin. Apparently this coin was made and given away as a premium in 1904 at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, Missouri. The coin or medal along with the World's Fair was to commemorate the Louisiana Purchase which was made 100 years earlier.

The design is interesting. On one side there are former U.S. Presidents Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt. On the other side, in the same pose are what are believed to be the founders and / or owners of the Huyler's Chocolate company. It is not marked as such, but this metal may be made of silver. It has not been tested. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

1803 - 1904
IN COMMEMORATION OF LOUISIANA PURCHASE EXPOSITION
ST. LOUIS
COMPLIMENTS OF HUYLER'S

The coin measures 1-1/4'' wide. It is in poor damaged condition with edge dents as pictured.
