| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of this Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed Tin U.S. Army Private Soldier Figure Toy Prize. This prize Soldier figure is not dated but it is believed to be from around World War I or shortly after. The Doughboy Soldier is holding his rifle. The back side is blank. The Cracker Jack ID number is Z-0874. The base is bent as intended so that he may stand up. There are at least several others in this set including a Captain, an Officer, and a General. It is marked on the base as follows: PRIVATE U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A. The tin Soldier figure measures about 2-1/8'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
