| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of the 1955 Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Cereal Jack Webb Dragnet Police ID Card and (2) Toy Whistles in this lot. The plastic whistles were found in specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Cereal in 1955. The cardboard identification card was on the back of the cereal box and had to be cut out. The ID card has an image of a “DEPUTY #714 DRAGNET” police badge and a printed facsimile Jack Webb signature. The card is not filled in. The two whistles are identical. One side has a “SERGEANT DRAGNET #714” police badge. The other side has a facsimile Jack Webb signature, and it is marked “OFFICIAL JACK WEBB WHISTLE”. All three of these for one price! To judge the sizes the ID card measures about 3-1/2'' x 2-1/4''. The whistles appear to be in mint condition as pictured. The ID card has over all creasing. |
