The picture shows a close view of both sides of this RARE 1910's Large Version Cracker Jack Premium / Prize Tin Advertising Horse & Wagon. This is one of the earliest and rarest prizes that was put into early Cracker Jack boxes and not to be confused with the smaller later version of the 1920's and 1930's. This one very much resembles a tin penny toy. Each side has an early (pre Sailor Jack) Cracker Jack box printed and reads as follows: CRACKER JACK RUECKHEIM BROS. AND ECKSTEIN CHICAGO & BROOKLYN The back of the wagon has their famous slogan that reads: THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE YOU WANT From the horse's nose to the back of the wagon it measures 3-1/8" and it is 1-1/2" tall. It is in in very good condition with various small dents and chips. Also, the tin has separated behind the horse on one side and part of one leg is missing. This prize is RARE in any condition! |
