The picture below shows four larger views around this Colorful Old Howdy Doody Western Television Cowboy Character Marionette Puppet Doll. There is only one character puppet included here. This marionette puppet is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s when the children’s television show with Buffalo Bob was popular. He has a painted composition head, gloves, and shoes or boots. He’s got a red, white, and blue plaid shirt with white arm bands, a light tan neckerchief, a brown vinyl belt, and blue pants. There is a hard section in his chest and waist, a little stuffing in his thighs, and rods in his legs. He has black strings thick black hand held card (sorry not shown). His mouth is operated with a center string, and other strings operate his arms and legs. He measures about 17-1/2'' tall. The puppet appears to be complete and in good to used condition as pictured. |
